Your prescription is located on your contact lens box and on the contact lens flat pack container. You can only order the contacts that are for your prescription.
Why do I need my prescription verified?
Under the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumer Law, we are required to verify your contact lens prescription. During the ordering process we will provide you with the opportunity to search our database to find your eye doctor or store/clinic. If your eye doctor is not on our list, we will ask you for the name of your doctor, their address, and/or the name of the store/clinic where you had had your eye exam for your contact lenses. We will use this information to verify your prescription. After your prescription is verified, you will be able to view your prescription in your account.
To expedite verification, you can send a copy of your contact lens prescription by fax to 1-856-718-3649 or by email to send email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are able to send us a valid copy of your contact lens prescription then we don’t have to contact your eye doctor to verify your order. Please include your order number on the attachment and on the fax or email.
What if my doctor won’t give me a copy of my prescription?
It’s the law! Your eye doctor must give you a copy of your contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions, whether or not you ask for them. You should get your eyeglass prescription at the end of your eye exam, and your contact lens prescription when your fitting is complete.
How do I know if my prescription has expired?
Under federal law your prescription is good for one year, depending on the state where your eye care provider is located your prescriptions may be good for two years. If you think your prescription has expired please contact your eye doctor. We recommend that you see your eye doctor annually.
